At a glance

Vibeet is a lifestyle social network built around moments, places, events, chat, ranking, growth and My Vibe.
You control visibility for your moments and profile surfaces. Private content is not intended to be shown on public profile, public place, ranking or discovery surfaces.
Location is used only when you grant permission or provide it through a check-in, event or place action. Exact location is not exposed in public profile experiences.
We do not sell personal data. We use trusted providers only to operate, secure, localize and improve Vibeet.

1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Vibeet handles information when you use Vibeet mobile apps, Vibeet Web, public pages, push notifications, ranking, places, chat, invites, events, referral, rewards and related services.

“Vibeet”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the operator of the Vibeet service. “You” means the person using the service or creating an account.

2. Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide the service and keep the community safe. This can include:

  • Account information such as email, password hash, display name, nickname, birthday or age eligibility, avatar, language preference and session/device information.
  • Profile and My Vibe information such as bio, interests, moments, places, events, achievements, vibe card, connections and privacy settings.
  • Content you create or interact with, including moments, photos, captions, comments, replies, likes, saves, reports, invitations, messages and event activity.
  • Location-related information you choose to provide, such as approximate location, check-in location, place ID, event location or map interactions.
  • Usage, device and log information such as app version, browser, operating system, IP-derived approximate region, crash diagnostics, request logs and security events.
  • Notification and communication settings such as push tokens, badge state, reminder preferences, email preferences and campaign opt-in choices.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate Vibeet and make the experience useful, safe and personalized. Examples include:

  • Creating and securing your account, restoring sessions and preventing unauthorized access.
  • Showing feed moments, place history, events, ranking snapshots, growth progress and My Vibe memories according to visibility rules.
  • Powering recommendations, compatibility previews, suggested meetup places, ranking buckets, achievements and growth missions without exposing private formula internals.
  • Delivering chat, invite, event, ranking, growth, Vibe Card and referral notifications based on your settings.
  • Detecting spam, fraud, abuse, fake check-ins, unsafe behavior, block bypass attempts and policy violations.
  • Improving reliability, localization, performance, accessibility and product quality across mobile and web.

4. Visibility, public content and privacy controls

Vibeet has public and private surfaces. Public content may appear on public profiles, public moment links, place detail pages, ranking surfaces, discovery previews or share cards. Private, draft, deleted and blocked content is not intended to appear on public surfaces.

Your visibility settings, block list and safety settings determine who can view or interact with your profile, moments, places, tags, events and relationship signals. Some aggregate counts may be used for product integrity and ranking, but public UI should not reveal private content details.

5. Location, places and check-ins

Location helps Vibeet support nearby places, check-ins, event attendance, Vibe Map, place history, discovery and growth missions. You can control device location permission through your device or browser settings.

Exact GPS is not shown in public My Vibe or public profile previews. Where a public map or profile preview is used, Vibeet should use place-level, rounded or clustered location signals rather than raw precise coordinates.

6. Chat, invites and events

Messages, invite cards, event details, participants and reminders are used to provide conversation, planning, event attendance, check-in, calendar and notification features.

Chat and event content is not used as a public profile surface unless you intentionally create a public moment or shareable content from that activity.

7. Notifications, language and preferences

We use push tokens, language preference, badge state and notification settings to deliver alerts for comments, replies, matches, chat, invites, event reminders, ranking updates, growth rewards, Vibe Card readiness and referral rewards.

Campaign or marketing notifications are opt-in and should be off by default. You can change notification and language settings in the app or web settings.

8. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only when needed to provide, secure or improve the service, including:

  • With other users, according to your visibility settings and the product surface you use.
  • With infrastructure, analytics, messaging, storage, map, email and push notification providers that help operate Vibeet.
  • With business or place owners only in aggregated, privacy-safe form unless you directly interact with a claimed business surface.
  • When required to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect safety, investigate abuse or respond to valid legal requests.
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or transfer of assets, subject to continued protection of personal information.

9. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies

Vibeet Web uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies for session restore, language preference, layout preference, security, analytics and feature reliability.

Some storage is necessary for the service to work. You may clear browser storage, but doing so can sign you out or reset preferences.

10. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Vibeet, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and enforce our terms.

You may request deletion or delete your account from settings where available. Some records may be retained for security, legal, anti-abuse, payment, audit or backup reasons for a limited period.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of personal information. You can also:

  • Change profile, language, privacy, safety and notification settings.
  • Delete or change visibility for your moments where supported.
  • Block users and report unsafe content or behavior.
  • Disable browser or device location permission.
  • Contact us for privacy requests or questions.

12. Age eligibility

Vibeet is intended for users who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow children under 18 to create accounts. If you believe a minor has provided information to Vibeet, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

13. Security

We use technical, organizational and product safeguards such as authentication, session controls, privacy checks, block enforcement, audit logs and monitoring to help protect information.

No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong password, keep your devices secure and report suspicious activity.

14. International processing

Vibeet may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use safeguards intended to protect information during international transfers.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Vibeet evolves. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, email or another appropriate method. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
